As you know the current server is a mess, and very much so a work in progress. However here is a list of end goals I have. Feudal World had a lot of this stuff as did ToR/WRP, however sadly Feudal World died. We are allowed to host our own servers on it however, will discuss this with staff.
1. Hunger system. A reasonable one that does not deplete every 30 minutes.
2. Private housing, hire an in-game carpenter or mason to customize with furniture and shape, will be updated on next map reset.
3. Replace stockpiles with persistent chests. If you played ToR you know the magic that is persistent chests that can save through server resets. Hopefully also make Closets that will have the storage abilities of horse carts so branches and polearms can be stored. This is far more convenient than searching for a matching stockpile or weapon buy/sell point, plus they last through resets so your work is safe.
4. Removing weapon buy/sell points, or setting their worth/reward to 0. Before you flip out, this is so blacksmiths, armorers, fletchers, tailors, and pole-turners can all RP appropriately, making gear as needed instead of being magically paid to throw stuff on a pile. And yes, all of those listed are expected to specialize and RP accordingly. Smiths and craftsmen will only make gear from a nation or two that they specify, and only certain kinds of gear. Example, a blacksmith from Swadia will likely specialize in 1 and 2 handed swords, or chain-mail and plate, all of which from his region unless he learned some techniques from the Nords and Rhodoks. This will cause a large market for craftsman RP, as well as make armor and weapons more defining to the community. People can truly customize as nobody else on the server may have an outfit or loadout like you.
5. Extra inventory slots. If you played ToR or WRP, you know you loved having another 9 slots to store things in so you do not need to contemplate whether you should carry a tiny die or a log the size of your torso. Stick small items in your pockets and carry big things in an RP'd bag over your shoulder.
6. Change horses. I have seen other mods where people actually breed horses instead of crafting them. I don't know how they do that black magic but I want it now. Also rarer horses, right now anyone can get one and that is a little game breaking.
All I can think of for now. Might expand later.
