So for a long time now, I've had side characters that seen themselves as ancient Calderics. Pretty much the Romans. Over the years I've made around six bios with characters with the culture and names and a most of my characters have followed their gods. This post is really just so people know when I reference things it's not made up on the spot to gain some advantage but also if people want to RP as Calderics. Either one. Also if you recognize something strange about the gods you've gained my respect. Also note, a lot of this was for a faction (I've excluded the faction lore and military ranks) so that's why it looks how it does.
Created the gods to order the realm so that he could experience life, they were to be his justicars. Eventually grew bored of both his “gods” and his realm deeming them flawed and left to start anew. Both male and female, neither alive, nor dead.
-The Lord of Mice-Basil Pontiki (King of Mice)
Soren’s and Ramiel’s bother Basil is the god of justice and order. He admires small things that are brave and strong. Mice and Ants being his favorites. He knows that sometimes justice is harsh and decided that if it collapses all is lost.
Bringer of Hope-Ramiel Divas (Angel of Hope)
Second of the “brothers” Ramiel is the Angel of Hope but also the demon, notoriously fickle Ramiel is known to give hope and take it at will. Ramiel is a fighter that will never give up and is patron of all fantasy creatures, elves and unicorns being his favorite.
-Hammer of Vengeance-Soren Agnosson (Serious)
Third of the brothers Soren is the patron god of the badland people Soren is the hammer of vengeance. Often called Basil’s darker side he punishes those who break any oath and those who defy the “gods”. He favors ravens and eagles as his animals.
-Oculus of Knowledge-Ocelot (Powerful Cat)
Father of truth and lies Ocelot stands apart as being both amoral and very moral at the same time. Both he and Dias are Agnos’s true heirs in temperament and powers. Ocelot gives knowledge only to those who earn it. His favorite animal is the cat, who tricked from him the knowledge to live nine lives.
-Dias no’Colith (Literary Sky-Father)
Dias is the father of creation but he is a harsh master, Dias made man under Agnos’s watch and made the flawed and harsh creatures and man that populate this narrow world. He is mother to volcanos and lives in the tundra’s where his ring of volcanos keep all within the world’s limits. His patron animal is the lion, fierce and defiant.
Dias’s Sister and sometimes enemy, Forta is death, the taker of all things that do not belong to her. Often called the sly god she is rarely seen and her and her people the sea people rarely interact with the other five people. The sea people call her the God of chance and pray to her before every voyage, sailing the endless two seas in search of a new land where they will be free of war with the other five people.
The Lover-Layla Divium (Divine Lover)
Lady of the plains, mistress of both Soren and Ramiel she is cruel and manipulative always getting what she wants, or she likes to think. In reality Ramile is using her for her body even as Soren is in competition, their struggle is not over her but over each other. It is said the whole world but her know this. Her favorite animal is the peacock, a vain and Temperamental bird.

The empire believes in a fair recognition of all of its provinces and as such, it has a senate. Each province elects a senator from the nobility and that senator can bring issues to the attention of the imperial government. While not a perfect a system, it allows for the representation of all of the empires various people and places. The senate meets with the emperor and can pass new laws or repeal old ones or decide the foreign policy of the empire, but the emperor himself has absolute veto rights.
