Faye was born into a rich life inside the grand city of Praven, and was raised by both her parents, Marc, and Annabelle. They lived in the richer part of the city, due to her father owning owning a striving mine not too far away from the city. In Faye's early years of life, they had many servants around their home, so not much work in the house was needed to be done by Faye or her parents.
At the age of five her mother had taken on a serious alcohol addiction, and started to spend less and less time with Faye. So Faye later become good friends with one the handmaidens, and that handmaiden had started to play more of a mother figure for Faye. Marc, Faye's father would often need to leave home for a few weeks at a time to manage the mine that he had owned, and during that time Faye's mother would have strange men in their house that Faye did not know, and whenever one would come over a handmaiden would bring Faye to her room and keep her in there for a while and they'd play with the toys until she was allowed to come out.
As Faye got older her father hired a man who was rather intelligent with the knowledge to read and write to teach Faye. Although Faye found it very difficult at first she enjoyed it greatly and continued to practice and improve her skill. As Faye become more experienced and was able to read fluently, she found a fondness in reading books, especially the ones about heroic knights going through hard journeys to save the princess.
At the age of 14 Faye started to become bored, because her parents allowed her almost no freedom at all, they decided on everything she did, even who she's allowed to be friends or is supposed to dislike, and she had no interest in the people her parents allowed her to be friends with, so Faye's best friend remained her favourite hand maiden, who she felt was the only she was able to speak freely to. Faye's father could tell that she was very bored so offered to take her to the mines for a few weeks and show her around them and to show her what he really does to make money, so Faye took him up on the offer, and during that time she was having a great time but regretted having to return home to her boring life were she had no freedom and had servants do everything for her.
When Faye was at the age of 16 Faye's mother became severely ill, and her father payed for the best medical practicians in all of Praven to come and cure her of her illness, unfortunately she had passed away before they could even determinate what was really wrong with her. After her mother passed away Faye and her father were distraught, and things had not been the same for months after her passing. A year later Faye's father married another women, Faye wouldn't ever accept her as a mother, but decided she had to live with it, because her father had already been through enough with his previous marriage.
Things went on normally for a while until Faye had decided she was absolutely tired of not having a life of her own and having servants following her around constantly not allowing her to do anything for herself, so she spoke to her father and explained that she needed to leave and go out on her own, it was very hard for her father to accept the fact that his own daughter would be leaving, but he knew at heart it's what she really wanted, so he said his goodbyes and gave her his best horse and a decent sized bag of coins to make sure she'll have enough until she finds somewhere to settle, after her father said his goodbyes to her, he told her that if she ever ran into problems to come home immediately and she'd always be welcomed back home where she belonged, and after that she went on her way. Faye is now out on her own, exploring new lands in hope to find somewhere she can settle down and perhaps meet one of those knights from her childhood stories.
Equipment: Just the decent sized bag of coins her father had given to her, and her clothing.
