Backround/History:
Alexander Haleheart is the bastard son of Adelade Haleheart and Melissa Monet in the heart of Praven. His mother was a maid in the castle of King Haralus, she often worked and because Alexander never met his father in his childhood, he often paraded the streets with gangs of children and did as they pleased. One time as Alexander and his friends were going about, one of the gang members suggested they rob a footwear store owned by a very old man. So, when night came the boys got everything they needed and broke into the store. No one was inside, which was a good sign for the boys. They quickly took shoes and whatever valuables they could find and stormed out. Unfortunately, a local guard had caught the boys and they had began to run. Alexander was the fastest of the group, so behind him all he heard was the shrieks of his friends who were being captured by the guards. He looked behind and one child had tripped and broke his ankle. He held out his hand for Alexander to grab, and Alexander looked forward and kept running... He heard the child crying and he was taken away by the guards. Alexander kept running until he found a safe area to hide, which he did behind a barn. He still had the valuables he stole and he planned to sell them in the morning, but now he needed to focus on getting home... his mother would be worried sick, he though. Alexander opened the door and saw his mother being raped by the same guards who took in his friends, and Alex began to throw items at them while he cried. His mother screamed, "Go, my son!" and Alexander turned around and then back facing the guards. He knew he could not abandon his mother in this situation, so he grabbed a sword off the wall, which they keep for protection, and ran right into the guard raping his mother. The blade pierced the man right through his left peck, where his heart is located. Alexander removed the blade from the guard's body as he watched him drop to his knees, then face down onto the floor, heavily bleeding. His mother got up and hugged him. Her clothing was torn and she had beat marks on her face. It was a cruel night. The next morning Alexander had sold the goods and went to locate his friends who were captured... he brought the sword. He interrogated each of his friends, and is it turns out all of them gave the guards his information, leading to the raping of his mother. Alexander cut down each victim he interrogated because of their betrayal. Alexander felt no pain, no guilt. He was a true warrior and his true colors were beginning to expose themselves.
Eight years later, when Alexander would be 19, Alexander would be among the ranks of the swadian army. He was an officer under Count Harringhoth and he was a skilled melee fighter. Count Harringhoth and his men were deployed to Jelkala, where they will commence a war with the Rhodoks. Jelkala was the heart of the kingdom, so they thought it would be a perfect place to lay siege in order to dismantle the kingdom. They traveled for 4 days, and on the last day they had their destination in sight. The army had already built its siege tower and they were commencing the invasion. The men charged once the siege tower was set in place, but when they got there the castle was empty. A button drop could be heard, and the men were in confusion. Then, Alexander heard a squishy noise. He looked behind him as a fellow comrade of his dropped to the ground as an arrow hit his skull. The men braced as arrows shadowed the sun and shields were placed up. The enemy was in the forest, shooting from afar. Somehow, they knew of the invasion plans. Five sets of arrow waves were fired, and the swadians were heavily outnumbered and being butchered like cattle. The fight would be lost, that was no doubt, and Alexander had to devise a way to escape. While the members of his group were occupied and dying, he took his shield and pointed it towards the enemy and ran. The days were hot and the nights were cold, and Alexander had no idea where he was going. He traveled for countless days, looking for an area to reside. And then it happened, he found the lands of Yore. Your was a chain of islands off the coast of Calradia, and it was fresh and fertile. The people there were amazing, the trees were greener than grass, and the towns were lively. This place was amazing, and little did he know it was one of the most brutal and war-like areas he would ever visit. He would live in Yore for a year before something amazing happened. One day in the town square of Laszloburg, he saw a man who looked awfully a lot like him. Curious about the man, he approached him and confronted him. "Excuse me," Alexander would begin, "Do I know you?" The man looked at Alexander and by the expression on his face, he, too, realized the resemblance, "I am not sure," he would say as he is still shocked, "My name is Xavier... Xavier Haleheart." Alexander would be in a frozen state. His mind too filled with sudden information that he could barely speak, "I... I am Alexander Haleheart." The two men would eventually cool down after a few moments. They began to question themselves, and they figured out that they are both bastard sons of Adelade Haleheart. The two brothers roamed Yore, causing trouble and mischief wherever they went. The stole, they killed, the plundered. The two were a perfect team, and they participated in many illegal events involving contraband, the distribution, production, and abuse of herbs, gold and silver runs, etc. They became filthy rich, yet they always spent their money. Xavier spent his money on alcohol, herbs, and other things. Alexander, however, took after his father. He bought whores, alcohol, cheap clothing, the finest of swords, herbs, and more. The money eventually got to the boy's minds and they were at rock bottom at one point. This went on for a while.
Ten years in Yore would slowly go by, and Alexander and his brother were at an all time low. They were broke, alcoholics, and only knew the ways of warriors and criminals. They have seen no man should see in their lifetime, and done things no one should have to do... ever. At this time, Alexander has been divorced 6 times and have 9 children, not one with the same mother. Xavier, however, was married and had no children that he was aware of. The two often slept on the sides of buildings or under bridges, and it was tragic. One day a massacre erupted at the Tinadel Mansion, and 12 people were slaughtered. The Tinadels were good friends of the Halehearts, and thus Xavier and Alexander went to investigate. Many peasants were insulting the Tinadels at their own home, and that was the cause of the fight. Now what was about to happen altered the course of history forever... the two brothers saw their father, Adelade Haleheart! The two ran to their father, confirming it was him and it was. The three united and became a trio. Now Xavier and Alexander were lifted from poverty and back to their lives as criminals. To ensure they do not repeat their last experience, they stored money in the bank. Their time with Adelade had been treasured, and they had many adventures. They whacked anyone in their way, ended empires, and took whatever they wished to take. It was the good life, and it seemed never to go south from there. Now, overtime Adelade eventually died of old age. The funeral was brief, and only the people closest to him attended. This left Xavier and Alexander heartbroken, and they couldn't have lived in Yore anymore, as it reminded them of only the bad times. It was then Xavier had the brilliant idea of moving to the lands of Sense, where they would live only for a short while.
Sense was a land that was very spread out, and the people there were wealthy. Alexander and Xavier had spent much of their wealth on just going to the lands. While Alexander worked all day, Xavier barely saw the light of day. Eventually, the two brothers split up but not from anger or hatred, for their own benefit. Alexander was all alone, but he had made a name for himself. Alexander was a criminal. He had killed 9 people, and one was a child. He was wealthy, he was a warrior, and he was a womanizer. His family was lead by him, Xavier, and his cousin Matthew. Now, Alexander had had 3 wives total in these lands and had sexual experiences with 6 woman. They were Malea, Aislenn, and Maria. He had 3 kids, Vincent, Katrina, and his bastard son, John. Vincent was executed by Alexander for attempted assassination, conspiracy, and betrayal, John died from an unknown sickness, and Katrina is currently the only KNOWN living heir of Alexander Haleheart is on the verge of marriage with the Clan Tinadel's jarl, Laban. The two houses were well antiquated and allied, and thus a marriage was arranged for a more permanent alliance. Alexander, being the infamous bastard he is known for, was purchasing items from his armory one day when the brothers, Garth and Wayne Dobinson, approuched Alexander and three of his companions along with their crew. They planned to kill Alexander, which was what they thought they did. Although after a fight broke out, Garth had defeated Alexander. The crew left, not knowing Alexander was merely knocked out. When he awoke, he saw nothing but ruins. A clan had taken over what was once his castle, and his family was scattered.
Sense was left in ruins after the attempted murder of Alexander Haleheart. Castles were demolished, the economy was family, and a great flood was coming. Everyone evacuated the lands, and Alexander had boarded a ship with his family, heading back to Yore. Alexander, wanting to keep his well-being a secret, had began to wear a straw hat, like his father before him. Adelade had deemed Alexander a straw hat, back in the old days alongside the other society members, but now it seems the order was dead. Alexander had left everything in Sense behind, except his pride. He plans to find a true family and settle down, and redeem his family name.
