I think fearspear was quite immature in his response, therefore deserving whatever negative feedback he receives.
In no way shape or form was the video immature, in fact, it was quite an edgy meme.
Anyways, what people may see on the outside when they look at my behavior is just me trash talking the one known as Gankiest, but only a few know the true story of what unfolded and why this ban is completely necessary.
When Gankiest first contacted me over steam, he was complaining to me about LaVulpe, who was understandingly upset after a certain mishap involving a map, intellectual property, and a spatula. LaVulpe was on steam, but he had made a public announcement beforehand that he was going to take small break from server affairs, which is very reasonable considering the amount of free work and stress running a server entails.
I told Gankiest that he made a mistake with his spatula comment, which he admitted he should not have done. I advised him that he should only speak when he had something important and constructive to contribute to his conversations.
Despite this, I later received messages from Gankiest showing logs of what he sent to LaVulpe, LaVulpe responded with, "I will be back in a few days" or a comment similar.
However, the reason Gankiest was ultimately banned from this community is not due to the spatula comment, it is because for multiple days on end he would hound LaVulpe, trying to get him to speak to him by using insults, taunting, threats, ect. I know all of this because he continued to send the logs to me, somebody he trusted, and bragged about the occasional response LaVulpe would say, "Fuck off", or "Leave me alone."
I began to tire of him consistently sending me these logs filled with inappropriate comments, immature insults, and cruel taunts, such as the time he was talking to LaVulpe, LaVulpe said he was in a bad mood because his dog was dying of heart cancer, along with other unfortunate things that had happened that day. Later, Gankiest used this knowledge of his dog by taunting LaVulpe "Is your dog dead yet?" "Is your dog dead yet?"
Due to what I assume is LaVulpe tiring of listening/ trying to stop Gankiest from continually sending him these messages, he attempted to ignore Gankiest all together, by just not responding to him at all.
Gankiest then began addressing his concerns about LaVulpe's silence to me, and he believed that there was some elaborate conspiracy to get him kicked off the server team, which he then tried to begin currying my favor, and attempted to get me in on a plot he was devising to get LaVulpe kicked off the server team.
What Gankiest did not know, is that before I make a decision in a matter, I gather evidence from both sides of the conflict to try and get the most accurate and unadulterated truth I can see.
From what my observation this is what I could conclude
1. Gankiest is immature.
2. Gankiest has no intention to compromise.
3. Gankiest tries to manipulate others to his advantage.
4. Gankiest cannot learn from his mistakes.
5. Gankiest has no intention of roleplaying, he just wants to have power over something.
Then Gankiest came to me with a proposition, he said that if I would quit my position of admin, he would give me a high position on a server he intended to make, "Camelot Roleplay"
Although I had already judged Gankiest from my observation of his behavior, and believed he needed no part of being in a roleplay community, I saw an opportunity to make some edgy memes. I initially thought, "I should not make this video it would be considered inappropriate, I then remembered how Gankiest had continually taunted LaVulpe over his dying dog, a dog which has been a member of Vulpe's family for a long time. I know what it is like to lose a best friend, I lost a dog and a cat to coyotes.
It is not a subject that should be used to taunt in any way, it is like losing a close member of your family. This is what swayed my decision to make the video, I will back anything that I do and I have no regrets over making the video whatsoever.
I then of course, got into the chat with Gankiest, he pitched his server idea, and I gave him a harsh lesson in reality. Hopefully this experienced has awoken him to his character flaws.
