Backround/History: Nicholas is descended from Swadian adventurers that conquered the largest kingdom in a not so distant isle called Albion. These Swadian conquers changed the land placing it under feudalism and seizing the land from its rightful owners and putting their Gods over them. Yes Gods for these Swadians were followers of the Imperial Pantheon that the Calderics followed long ago. Harsh gods that demanded absolute obedience. The Swadian people slowly mixed with their conquered and became Albions. Strong with the bow and with strong pole-ax armed infantry they conquered more and more of their isle till all of it belonged to their king. Now this king, the third Albion to sit the throne sends out teams of Knights and Squires to scout the land and convert people. To invade or merely to probe it is unknown.
Nicholas himself is the second born son of the Baron de Noirmont, one of the most powerful barons under the Albion King. Nicholas was trained to be a disciplined soldier from birth and his natural talents set him apart. He grew arrogant and saw all commoners as less then cows But that didn’t make him the exception in Albion though (if anything he was part of the rule), instead Nicholas stood out in his tolerance of foreign cultures (if not their gods) and so was taken by the Church to be trained as one of their vanguards to scout Calradia. Years later Nicholas would be knighted as one of the youngest knights the Pantheon had ever produced. While not an excellent duelist, Nicholas stood out as a lancer, horsemen and tactician. Nicholas then took a native squire, one no other knight would take and departed to Calradia to scout for his King and his gods.
Equipment: I really don’t need free stuff. But I plan on equipping a courser, heavy lance, GS, any sort of shield, mail gloves and boats, bascinet, and a brigantine. With my own serf money.
