Hawaha
Mihrimah was born in a large village named Hawaha which is north of Shariz and next to the Rhodok Boarder. Her father Yusuf was the village leader/master merchant and considered a very wise man by all it's inhabitants. Mihrimah's mother Roshanak was an extremely beautiful and cunning woman who was also a former slave years back until she was granted her freedom along with a handsome sum of gold to go with it. Growing up Mihrimah was never left wanting for anything, but her father did not simply spoil her. Yusuf taught his daughter to be both kind and considerate of all others, to not just think of herself always but to think of others and what they may be going through. On the other hand her mother tried to teach her not to be too trusting and keep a skeptical and cynical eye on everyone who was not family. However it was her father who Mihrimah ended up taking after the most.
After some years Roshanak failed to birth any more children all being stillborn leaving Mihrimah as their only child and hope to further the family. So by the time Mihrimah was eight Roshanak convinced Yusuf to betroth her to a young son of a wealthy Merchant in Shariz named Azar Solak.
The Fools War
Seventeen years ago when Mihrimah was nine the Supreme Doge Arturo of Rhodok lands started a war of conquest against the Sarranid Sultanate. To avoid anything happening to their only child Mirhimah was sent away earlier than expected to Shariz to live with Azar's family. She was carted away there days ahead of her parents. Unfortunatly Yusuf and Roshanak were not quick enough on the rode to Shariz, they were caught in an ambush set by forward scouts of the Rhodokian army. The scouts left no witnesses behind they killed all within the caravan and made off with their gold belongings. The Rhodoks did well during the next months of their war even besieging Shariz for a while. But the foolish Doge had made a grave error by splitting his forces to act out an overly ambitious plan. The Sultan at the time was a very cunning man and has secured help from the Khergits. The second Rhodokian army which went east was utterly destroyed by the Khergits in an epic battle known as The Day of Death, news only reached the Doge of this defeat a month later. Supreme Doge Arturo eventually gave up and turned his forces back west leaving Sarran lands for good.
The Solak Family
At first everything seemed normal and fine with the Solak family, they treated Mihrimah well and tried their best to comfort her with mourning her parents when the news came they were dead. However their real nature soon surfaced showing themselves to be utterly ruthless and greedy as well. As the years went on they neglected Mihrimah and let their son Azar bully and hit her at will. When Mihrimah had turned fourteen years old the Solak family had fallen on very hard times losing much of their favour within the Merchants Guild of Shariz and the Royal Court. To make up for this they sold off much of their valuables, including most of their slaves and eventuallty even Mihrimah herself. It was lucky for Mirhimah that they had sold her to one of the most wealthy and noble off all the merchants within Shariz a young man named Yasir Maalik.
Yasir Maalik
Yasir Maalik was very different to most other merchants in Shariz and most likely the entire world. Incredibly cunning and wise beyond his years he was already a force to be reckoned with even at a younger age. Yasir considered his slaves like his own family and treated them all very well, and he had recognized Mihrimah's abilties and skill almost right away. She showed a great interest in medicine and was often caught sneaking in to watch Hakims work away on their patients. It was some time but eventually when Mirhimah turned twenty Yasir had gained more than enough influence in Shariz and after pulling some strings he set her up as the first female to learn at a Shariz College in over sixty years. Not willing to waste a single day Mihrimah began to study intensly and she excelled in her classes eventually being named among the top students within the entire College.
Hakim Mihrimah Bahadir
Six long years of college had molded Mihrimah she gained a great deal of knowledge and experience. It had come time when Yasir would grant Mihrimah her freedom as well as a fair sum of gold. Mihrimah now a free woman made the decision to stay with Yasir and follow him where ever he was needed for his business. One day she hoped to set up a Hospital in a foreign land to treat people who desperatly needed a Hakim's skill over a the near barbaric barbers that roamed Calradia hurting more than they cured.
