Some EU role players asked us if they could open up a server with our name and work together.
What this will mean: -Most of player base moving to EU -There are more EU role players than NA -NA server would have a very small player base -The main server would become EU eventually if you really think about it. -Option for both NA and EU players to role play
Three options
Go with EU: -Shut down NA and work entirely on EU server -NA players won't have great ping, but it won't be too bad -A huge player base of NA and EU players alike -Less ddosing -Two server teams combined - - They have someone who can edit animations and this would also mean a lot more work done with less stress -Server cost would be split between me and the other owner -Beastly Awesomeness
Keep up NA while they handle EU: -NA will have a few players and the NA community will most likely die out or move to the EU server in the end -Teams would be separate and they will most likely be as short handed as we were -I would most likely Vanish in the end -EU server would eventually become main pw server, but the transition would be much bumpier
Don't open up an EU server: -What we have now...

This could eat away at our server, look at EU and NA Oasis. NA has like at most 6 people on when EU gets like 190. Also I wouldnt want our decisions to be limited by their council, that would just be bad.

The council would be for rules on THEIR server, not our own. We would still modify and progress as we plan.

I would not like being a selfish prick by not sharing what we have. I would prefer we let the EU scene have a shot as well, they have a fantastic animator and coder we could use as well.

I have seen that EU servers always massively outnumber NA servers. I guess because more foreigners play the game? Anyways, it would probably be a better decision to just try to... "boost?" our server, so that it can be connected to easier (if that is possible). Because if an EU server does open up, the population will shift over there, leaving NA players to either play with shitty ping, or play by themselves and starve to death (fuk u hungar). Since the player base on NA is already large-ish, maybe try doing something fancy like a world wide server? It probably isn't a possibility, maybe have like, 2 different connection services, but to the same server? That probably isn't a thing either, but trust me, if there are two seperate servers, the EU will overpopulate and the NA will die alone.

Find out where you can get your server hosted to get the best ping for everyone and sure I will vote yes.

In reply to Realm's edit:
I think you should keep it NA. If you want to have EU players, then let them connect to us, since the ping for us to play EU "won't be so bad" do not punish the NA players who have been here, by making them play either with bad ping or die alone on the abandoned NA server. The EU players can get off their high horse and play on NA if that's the issue here. If they don't want to play here, then why force us to play there? We where here first were we not?

Yes I agree, but there are more EU players so it would make sense for us few to suffer and not the majority. I will work with the other server owner to find the best spot.

You know what he is right.. we have almost always compromised with HCRP servers being EU. If they really want an HCRP let them come here and help us remove the bad weeds and create a better overall server and community. Unless you really think this is very much needed to better the server over all then fine I will remain Yes for now. But if the server is going to be horrid and most of us have 160 or more ping then I cannot say yes.

No I dont want to move to EU server, worse ping for us. Just let them come to us cuz if we merge with them it would be worse for na players. Why do we eventually have to move there, that sounds awful that we are moving there anyways, didnt realize this stuff would happen
Those are two really bad options, cant we keep what we have?

My advice: Stick with one server. Either EU or NA, but not both. You do not want to split your player-base and add another tier of the complex responsibilities that running a server involves. You know how that went for me on Nexus.
