Backround/History:
Jonny Greenwood is the bastard-born of a noble Lord of a lesser house in The Kingdom of Rhodoks, House Greenwood. Being the bastard of the family, he was always treated as the second most important compared to his true-blood brother, who was the true and only heir to the Lordship of House Greenwood. Jonny's best friend was the Man-At-Arms at Castle Greenwood, Ser Rodrik Yerling. Ser Yerling taught Jonny the art of swordplay, from the moment he could walk on two feet, to the moment he no longer needed them, and rode on horseback as a soldier in his father's army. For years he fought in his father's army, gaining fame and honor as he did along the way. Eventually, he was knighted by his father. However, the universe lashed out, and war broke out between the Rhodoks and the Vaegirs. House Greenwood was called upon to fight in the war, including Jonny who would carry the banner of House Greenwood into battles. Seven months the war raged on, and the Rhodokian army delved deep into Vaegir territory. It was at the siege of Reyvadin, where the Rhodokian's were defeated, and Jonny was wounded in battle. He was mauled and left to die by his companions who had retreated from battle. He managed to bandage his wound, and survive in the woods for two weeks, living off of berries and dirt. He reached Castle Greenwood, where he learned his father and half-brother were both killed in battle. His stepmother, outraged as to how the bastard was the one to live, banished the bastard of Greenwood from their home, and Jonny set off on a new quest, to write a new destiny.
He spent many years performing different jobs. He spent time as a sellsword, fighting in foreign armies wars, as a caravan guard, protecting shipments from looters and brigands, and when life was at an all time low, Jonny spent a year looting and raiding villages with a gang of outlaws. Those were dark times, and Jonny may have become mentally broken had it not been for the six months he spent in a dungeon after he was arrested for allegedly murdering a local shop owner. Upon his release, he dedicated his life to reforming himself into the man he was destined to be. He found work as a cup-bearer at a Swadian tournament, where he met Erik Verleth. The winner of the tournament was a fairly young Swadian knight, whose sigil was a half black half white flag, torn between the middle. It was after he had won, when Jonny was told to serve Ser Erik Verleth his cup of wine. Erik was already drunk, and he had asked Jonny to sit down with him. Jonny explained his life story to him, leaving no details out. Jonny did not know why, but it was the first person he was honest with in many years. Erik offered him a place as a footman in his faction, The Order of the Black and White. Jonny served under him for two more years, keeping the peace and order within the land. He finally found honor in his life again. He was re-knighted by Erik, and became Ser Jonny Greenwood once more, a true knight protecting the land.
