Forged in the blood - Clan Tinadel
Lightning cracks through the skies as the Giants of Ymur clashed below. The wind blew hard as Ashlem gave birth in the middle of battle. As the son of Ashlem and Tahl was born, he was born with the fire and blood of battle. Braghar they named him, and gave him the last name of Tinadel - meaning blood of war. The Child was nothing short of a legend, he was strong, fast and clever, not to mention his ambition and drive. Which could never be pleased. Ymur Giants did not foresee that this child was the one and only son of Jama, the one and only God of the Ymur Giants!
Braghar Tinadel left his home at the age of 16, as his ambition set him on his way to something greater. He traveled to the sacred island of Itilf where the most beautiful woman to ever be seen were made. When Brahgar arrived he meet a woman named Fregala, falling in a deep, endless love at first sight. Braghar decided to prove his worth to Fregala bringing death to the island, killing all the men and woman who lived under Fregala, nobody was safe from this man, not even children.
Fregala was horrified at the sheer power of the giant man, not to mention what he had done. When he returned with the head of the islands greatest warrior she cried, sending pain through Braghar's heart because of his love. Fregala stood there, smacking Braghar, who had never been hit before. He grew very angry, grabbing the girls throat and lifting her from her feet, looking into her eyes with a burning rage. Fregala stared back, horrified, and sobbing, when she had a vision sent by Jama that the only way this beast is to be tamed is with love. Fregala placed her hand on his chest with lust, obliterating the beasts rage - his hands released her. She then accepted Braghar as a husband, where she birthed eight children. Four men with the power of their father and four woman with the beauty of their mother.
Fregala fell in love with Braghar over time, after seeing how protective he was of her and the children, proving the vision Jama sent her. As the years past things went well and when these eight children turned eight, Braghar was given a vision to guide his new people to be the hand of Jama, telling him to put every child through Retaskglm, or the Path of Jama. Where for the next eight years they were trained to near death. They were beat, and pushed to the limit in all factors creating a war like, wild people. Battle and victory became not just a love but an art, or poetry to these people.
Of the eight children, Greth Tinadel excelled the most. He showed the most potential in the eyes of Jama, who came to him in a dream in the form of a Serpent in the seas, telling Greth to take his siblings and travel to a land called Yelk. In Yelk, they were to find a sacred pillar. When Greth awoke, he stumbled into his father's room, telling him of this vision. With much regret he told Greth to follow the word of Jama, so when the next morning arose they off to Yelk which took an entire year to reach.
When they arrived they found nothing but a barren land, the stench of death filled the air around him. Greth and his three other brothers Rental, Irkish, and Welok left the boat, leaving the four sisters. They walked to a burned body where a large rock was, resting in the chewed hand of the fallen warrior. Greth picked up what was the Pillar, but when he touched it, it would not move.
All four brothers attempted to pick this Pillar up but to no avail. After they had all attempted the feat, a loud howl echoed through the barren landscape. A massive wolf standing the height of a bull arose from the ground, its skin torn and eaten and his teeth rooted and infected with worms. The wolf charged, tearing Rental's head from his body almost instantly. Greth, Irkish and Welok all pulled their shields from their backs and the axes from their sides. They formed a formation long taught by their father, locked in a tight shield wall. As the beast circled Greth and the brothers watched closely. Finally the beast charged, smashing into the wall only to find a unmovable target, the brothers pushed back smashing their axes into the head of the beast repeatedly until the beast's head rolled into the dirt.
The brothers cheered as they had slain this mythical wolf, walking to the pillar once more. They all tried once again to lift it, but this time only Greth could pick up the Pillar. He was the one that delivered the killing blow to the head of the wolf. When they returned to the boat with Rental's body the sisters mourned at the death of their brother as the men sung and danced to celebrate his death, all through the night. On there way back to Itilf, Jama steered the ship by wind and water to a place called Nordhiem.
Upon arriving the small clan was confused, until a eagle landed in front of them. The eagle began to speak asking Greth to conquer this land in the name of Jama. When the Eagle stopped talking, it flew off. That moment an army of men stood in front of Greth and his brothers. Jama then intervened, taking Irkish and Welok and slammed them into Greth creating a new man with the power of all three, creating Rhretorlek. The sisters were in awe of this man as he had the beauty of Fregala, and forgot that he was still there brother at all.
Rhretorlek took his sisters and this army to The Valley or Nordhiem where the clan Jetu settled. Jetu where a people famed for their master crafstmenship in weapons and armor. The day was foggy as the army traveled to the hill line where they looked upon the unsuspecting Clan. Rhretorlek stood tall armored and ready, he let out a roar, letting the ground rumble and shake under the two armies. When they swarmed into the valley the Jetu scrambled, but it was too late.
All the men were butchered along with the children, all the woman who didn’t fight were taken and held by the army. Rhretorlek took the village by storm that day, the women were his trophies, breeding with most all the young woman, including his own sisters, having children with every woman able to give birth. Growing the clan immensely.
As the years past these children were all sent through Retaskglm. This created an army of harden blood lusting warriors. Forty years went by, the clan kept growing. Raids were had and gold brought back. The long era’s of general peace in the Clan had some bumps, the Vordiac’s were made from a Tinadel woman named Tres and a slave named Taven. Tredian’s were created by a man named Graflem, a famed wolf rider who took a women named Bresl as his wife. Creating yet another branch.
Years past as the Tinadel’s maintained dominance and created a fear of the Tinadel name. Clan Hierarchy made the Clan Tinadel the top of the tree, Tredian and Vordiac laying under their grip. Hundreds of years went by as people slowly lost their fear of Clan Tinadel, while Vordiac and Tredian began to grow more ambitious for the top spot on the tree. On a calm night the Tredian’s introduced a new style of warrior to the land called Calvary. They trampled a small village of the Vordiac clan.
The response of the Vordiac’s was an all-out war. The Tredian’s and Vordiac’s fought battle after battle. Seventeen years of this bloodlust passed, and a new leader of Clan Tinadel was made Jarl Fremtal Tinadel.
In order to keep his own family alive, he called the leaders together for talks, where they talked for eight days. When Fremtal left the building, peace was made. A Tredian and a Vordiac would marry. This peace served well lasting another eighty years until The Vordiacs looked for revenge, killing and raping the Leader of Clan Tredian’s wife sparking yet another deadly war. Yet again the now old fragile Fremtal called for peace. The Vordiacs and Tredians made an agreement to deal with the Tinadels together ridding themselves of their masters then to return to their war.
On that night Fremtal took eight arrows from five Vordiac archers as well as two Tredian archers. This news returned to what would be the new Jarl of the Tiandel Clan, Greflem and the new Heir Laban Tinadel. Greflem did not act as he watched his villages be attacked and slaughtered. His weak leadership leading only to the near obliteration of the once famed Tiandel’s. Laban had enough, sneaking into his room he struck both Greflem and his mother Arya down carrying their heads outside to a shocked and stunned Clan and his words "Weakness does not exist in Tinadel’s.” rang.
Laban gathered the once famed and feared warriors to the main Village. Claiming this was the time. The second coming of the Tinadel’s. His armor was fitted on and his weapons resting in hand, he marched with the Tinadel War Party. All of these men have gone through Retaskglm, and ready to kill for their Clan. When they arrived at the banks of Oslet, the entire armies of Vordiac and Tredian waited, doubling the Tinadel army.
An old Tredian man pleaded to the current Tredian leader not to fight these men, he had the wisdom to know who these men once were. The leader simply ignored it. The Vordiac’s and Tredian’s marched towards the Tinadel. Laban shouted for a shield wall to be made and so it was done. The fighting raged for seven whole days and nights. Wave after wave crashed against the Tinadel shields.
Every wave resulted in a mountain of dead enemy bodies as the Tinadel’s held strong and fast, never breaking formation, never breaking the wall. The Vordiac chief and the Tredian chief grew scared at the sheer ferocity of the Tiandel’s once again instilling the fear of the name. Then Laban roared, a final charge was made, the Tredian’s and Vordiac’s scatter. With this Tredian’s and Vordiac’s could not fight.
When the Tinadels returned Laban was hailed as one of the three Tretars. Meaning the Hand of Jama. As years went by Laban and his two brothers Bubba plus Sigvat commanded Tinadel to many victories and spread it’s name though the world. The three now travel to new lands, picking up new warriors, conquering new lands.
