Early Life
John was born in a small village just on the outskirts on the great city of Praven, Swadia. He was not born into a noble family, nor a wealthy one. Very shortly after John's birth, his mother passed from unknown sickness, leaving only his father to raise him. John's father, James Ebersbach, served as a foot soldier in the Swadian armies. This meant that John did not get to see his father often, and lived a rather low-class life. However, when John's father was home he taught John the only thing he really was good at, which was fighting. John's lessons began at the age of six, with wooden weapons, and he became very proficient at a young age. By age ten he received his first steel blade, a short sword. John practiced every day he could, whether it be with friends, dummies, or his father. John would take frequent visits to the city of Praven between the time he was ten till the time he was sixteen. He did not make many friends, and was really only close with his father. After hearing stories of the world and gaining knowledge he otherwise wouldn't have if he remained in the village, John finally decided to take leave, inspired by his sense of adventure and curiosity; not to mention he grew bored of the place. He gathered his important belongings, his longsword, small amount of coin, horse, some clothing, and food for the road. He travelled across the Swadian territory for three years, meeting new people, gaining new knowledge, and before he actually set sail to lands he'd never even heard of before. He soon arrived on the Islands of Yore, at the age of 19, with only his sword, few coin, and no friends.

Life in Yore
For the first half of John's time in Yore, nearly nothing happened. The land remained most peaceful and the most interesting thing that happened to him was a one night stand with a girl, he never saw her again. The one day, a tournament was being a held, a small one, but to John a tournament is a tournament. It would be John's first, and the prize money was 100,000 denars. John entered the tournament, and fought about four opponents, beating them all with significant ease. He gladly received the prize money, and he became friends with the couple that hosted the event. John remained neutral in any conflicts in Yore, and became close friends with the people whom hosted the tournament. He eventually married the woman after her husband died, her name was Jaycee. They lived a relatively quiet life in Yore and not much at all happened in the land that had any significance, to John at least. Eventually he and his wife moved to a new land, known as Nordheim, a very mountainous area.

Nobility in Nordheim
Nordheim was a lot more interesting than Yore, however, John's wife seemed to have disappeared. John became apart of the Versa Empire, which had significant holdings in the lands, he served as a simple guard to start, but then was granted nobility and knighted. John became well respected among the Versa Empire ranks, and frequently led the men. Conflict was yet to begin, but the Tinadels at the time had established a well known and powerful presence, owning arguably the best castle in the region. John was away when conflict first began, and was unable to fight and by the time he came back the Versa Empire had lost it's war to the Tinadels, and the Emperor had been killed. However, the soldiers of the Empire regrouped and managed to retake their castle, that is when John came in and took leadership, successfully defending against a couple waves of attacks. Once morale was raised and more men were rallied, a counter attack was launched, but for the most part failed. The war was lost, but John survived. John stayed out of conflicts in Nordheim from there on, and lived alone and relatively peaceful life. He much enjoyed his newly gained nobility, as it granted him many new opportunities, and was his chance to make his family name something great. During his last days in Nordheim, John found at this his wife has been wounded by outlaws, and she died shortly after. After learning of this tragedy, John was heart broken. This did not stop him from moving on, he left Nordheim and after many days of travelling came upon the land of Nantes.

Nantes, the beginning of greatness
The land of Nantes did not look like much, and was not too heavily populated. John found work at the village under the banner of The Verdant's Jarldom. To be honest, John disliked his leaders and did not always obey, they caused many issues in the surrounding land and were disliked among the populace. John became known as a very kind man in Nantes, as he helped everyone as much as he could, and had little ambition. The rulers of the village were eventually overthrown, thanks to the help of the Tinadels. John then decided to join the house of Abadonia, whom had the best defensive castle around. It was during this time that John became very good friends with Jarl Laban Tinadel. John had also taken a new wife by this time, a women whom he had unintentionally gotten pregnant while drunk, he was not too happy of this. He actually fell in love with her at one point, but she seemed to have mysteriously disappeared, and many questions entered John's mind. Did she leave him for another? Was she unhappy? Was she kidnapped? The real answer was that she went back to her Sarranid homeland for a bit. John was unaware of this for a very long time, and didn't find out for a long time. John was twenty-four during his time in Nantes, and most of his accomplishments happened in that year. After his wife had disappeared, he simply did not really know what to do. One day most of Abadonia seemed to be away somewhere, and a Church had seized control of Mount Hellstone. This church attacked Abadonia while it appeared to be defenseless, and John was the only thing standing in their way from taking it. There was only about half a dozen members of this church, and they resembled soldiers, nothing close to priests. He fought them all and managed to defeat them with ease. Afterwards, they seemed to have swapped their religion from worshipping plants, to worshipping John himself. This church then welcomed John, and gave him absolute control of Hellstone. Hellstone was unique, the majority of it was underground, built into a mountain. John began to expand and he soon conquered Laras, the neighbouring castle. With the annexation of Laras, John's power was increased, and his numbers swelled. The backbone of his military was the Tinadels, they did not serve him, they were more like friends and without them his conquests wouldn't have been possible. A foolish group of people took over the village and decided it was a good idea to launch an attack on John's forced. They failed miserably and John now had an excuse to take over the village, which he did swiftly. The capital of the Nantes region was known as Nantes, and it was a town consisting of two keeps. John and his forces launched an assault and took it with significant ease. By now the church had been renamed to an Empire, the Ebersbachian Empire. John always felt the title of being Emperor was too much, and it was later made into House Ebersbach. The only other house that stood a chance in Nantes were the Brave Companions, led by a woman named Silvara. They had Old Port, which was not their primary castle, but it owned the other half of the Nantes town. Their main castle was Brackaltwald outpost, which was a half ruined castle, but it still held up nicely. John had claimed Old Port was his, but Silvara refused to hand it over, and so war broke out. The Brave Companions were pushed back to Brackaltwald and they were under siege. John was going to take Brackaltwald and give it to the Tredians, but his mercy led him to let Silvara keep her land. After this, John owned every settlement in the land, minus the land controlled by Abadonia and the Companions; they stayed as his vassals. John also had a new Sarranid fiancé, but that did not last very long. John did not want so much power, and so he simply.. Well, left it.
He went to a place known as The Great Divide, set up his House temporarily and met another Sarranid woman named Ana Grym, he eventually married her. His old wife that disappeared mysteriously returned out of nowhere. John loved Ana and therefore did not take Arwa back. He had a much happier life with Ana anyways. Next to nothing of interest took place in the Great Divide land, and John seemed just fine with living happily with his wife. They had a child but he died at age six from a disease. Soon after his wife would pass from the same disease. John was once again, sad.

The Great Divide Part One
He went to a place known as The Great Divide, set up his House temporarily and met another Sarranid woman named Ana Grym, he eventually married her. His old wife that disappeared mysteriously returned out of nowhere. John loved Ana and therefore did not take Arwa back. He had a much happier life with Ana anyways. Next to nothing of interest took place in the Great Divide land, and John seemed just fine with living happily with his wife. They had a child but he died at age six from a disease. Soon after his wife would pass from the same disease. John was once again, sad.
The story continues..
John left the Great Divide to establish his household elsewhere, and along the way he married a woman named Alexis. Together they ruled over his new castle, and he became very involved in the lands politics. For the most part the lands were peaceful, until the Tinadels launched an attack on the capital of the region (I forget the name of this map) and successfully seized control, leaving almost none alive at the end. But after a while the entire land became struck with poverty, resulting in the inhabitants relocating themselves. Most of them went back to the Great Divide.
John and his wife Alexis arrived in Great Divide, and took control of Jelkala castle. John hired a company of knights to ensure he had a capable fighting force. The Tinadels had also taken residence nearby. A new rival had risen though, they were known as the Lydian Emperium. A combination of two Houses that were crushed earlier, they united to become strong again. Multiple wars were fought with no clear victor. If Lydians left to attack, they lost, and Montibeil was almost impenetrable with the amount of archers they had. John did not stay in that land long, mainly due to his wife dying.. She became ill with a terrible flu and was unable to recover. Her life was lost and John wondered if he should ever marry again. But as of now he's made a decision to no longer establish his House, but that is subject to change. He left for new lands, due to his sense of adventure and the lack of events of where he currently resided. There was not much left for him in that land anyways. He now seeks to serve as a knight for a House that requires it, and one that desires his talents. John has been busy training his melee skills and even cavalry skills now. He was not much of a horseman before, but now the thirty year old John has honed in his horse riding skills and has become a talented lancer, while maintaining his footman skills.

Equipment: Preferred armour - Full helmet, Heraldic Elite (Khergit Elite), Lamellar Gauntlets, Iron Greaves, Greatsword. (Forgot to state that he wore this armour throughout most of his conquests, can be added into history if required). Any extra money provided would also be helpful.
